Tickets
While official outlets and resale platforms like Ticketek Marketplace have no tickets left, last minute tickets through resell platforms such as Tixel may prove successful.
Getting there
Festival-goers will find multiple transport options available to reach the venue, located just 1.5km from the CBD and a 15-minute drive from Brisbane Airport. The festival entrance is at the corner of Alexandria and Machinery streets.
Public Transport
Bowen Hills station is 1.3km away, approximately a 20-minute walk, while Fortitude Valley station is closer at 750m, an 11-minute walk from the venue.
Visitors travelling from the Gold Coast must disembark their train at Fortitude Valley, with the last train departing at 12:25am.
Brisbane’s bus network also services the area, with key stops on Bowen Bridge Rd outside The Old Museum and St Paul’s Terrace near King St. Travellers are encouraged to check the TransLink website for up-to-date route and timetable information.
Rideshare
For those using rideshare services such as Uber, the recommended drop-off point is the Tivoli Theatre on Costin St, providing the most convenient access to the festival entrance.
Parking
No dedicated festival parking is available, but several paid parking facilities are nearby. Attendees are reminded to follow all parking regulations and avoid parking on private property.
Coming and going
There are no pass outs at Laneway. If you leave the festival during the day guests will not be let back into the grounds.
A Festival spokesman said there would be more than enough food, drinks, amenities and of course music, to keep the crowd going throughout the festival.
Pre-festival checklist
The festival requires guests to provide a valid ticket on their phone and a valid photo ID, so make sure your phone is fully charged.
Check the weather the morning of the festival, bring a rain poncho if needed as the festival is outdoors.
