Emmy loser’s hilarious dummy spit

AS Laura Dern took to the stage to accept her Emmy Award, one of the stars she beat was fuming — and soon jumped on social media Twitter with some bold allegations.

ACTOR Jackie Hoffman has provided one of the Emmy Awards’ most hilarious moments with her extreme reaction to losing the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Television Movie.

Nominated for her role in Feud and up against hot favourite Laura Dern for her role in Big Little Lies, Hoffman snapped into action when Dern’s name was read out.

Jackie Hoffman didn't take her loss too well.

“DAMN IT,” she yelled, rage flashing across her face. And again: “DAMN IT!”

But she wasn’t done. Tweeting from her seat, Hoffman had a theory about her loss: Dern, 50, was simply the beneficiary of Hollywood nepotism, being the daughter of actors Diane Ladd and Bruce Dern.

“Laura Dern had famous parents. Forgive me for being from real people #elitism,” she tweeted.

And then, a step further: “I hear that Laura Dern runs a child porn ring.”

Stars reel at shocking Emmys opener

While you might assume Hoffman really is the world’s least graceful loser, the actor is also an acclaimed improv and stand-up comedian — so it’s safe to say she’s hamming it up for a (rather extreme) comedic bit.

Still ... Laura Dern might want to watch her back at the Emmys afterparties. Just in case.
