Former Home and Away star Rhiannon Fish has linked up with Offspring actor James O’Halloran on a new romantic comedy filming in Brisbane this month.
When Love Springs, the latest romance film from Brisbane production house The Steve Jaggi Company, follows a junior PR professional heading to a bed and breakfast for her parent’s vow renewal when she runs into her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend, leading to her convincing the hotel’s future owner to be her fake new boyfriend.
The cast includes Callan Colley and top Queensland model Renee Herbert as well as Erin Connor, Steve Nation and Francesca Savige.
“We found our groove pretty quickly on set, and the cast and crew have been amazing and so hardworking,” director Jo-Anne Brechin said.
“We’ve created a beautiful setting full of old-school charm for this romantic story, and I’m excited for audiences to see the final result.”
The movie is shooting across locations in Brisbane this month.
International sales and distribution deals are again being handled by Nicely Entertainment.
“It is a continued pleasure working with SJc and we are thrilled to be working on this fifth movie together in just 2 years,” Nicely chief executive Vanessa Shapiro said.
