Victoria’s Secret model Georgia Fowler reveals how being a ‘chameleon’ leads to success

Victoria’s Secret model Georgia Fowler attended the Royal Ascot racing carnival in the UK stealing the show in a baby-pink gown. She revealed how being a chameleon led her to a successful career.

Victoria’s Secret model Georgia Fowler is doing her best not to be typecast.

Having modelled for the lingerie brand for the past three years, Fowler describes herself as a “chameleon”.

“Some of my favourite shoots are when I get to play a different character or be a little edgy,” the 26-year-old told The Daily Telegraph.

“A good thing to having a good career is to be able to be a little chameleon and being able to go from the sexy dresses to being in an androgynous shoot or an editorial or something more commercial.

“It is about being intelligent enough to look at what you are wearing and see the vibe and being able to act as such.”

But Fowler stuck to the rules as she stepped out with the Queen and other members of the royal family on the first day of the prestigious Royal Ascot racing carnival in the UK as a guest of sponsor Longines.

“I wanted to respect all the rules and look and feel the part,” she said of her baby-pink Tom Ford dress.

“I wouldn’t say this is conservative but I wanted to wear an outfit that sets the scene. There are a lot of rules with the styling but it is fun and this doesn’t happen every day so I wanted to embrace it and enjoy this experience.”

Royal Ascot’s strict dress code states women must wear a hat that has a base of more than 10cm and their dress straps must be wider than an inch.

Men in the Royal Enclosure must wear a full morning suit and top hat.
