The days of the Today Show host Georgie Gardner lazing in a hammock at her longtime South Coast beach retreat are coming to an end.

Gardner and her investment banker husband Tim Baker are letting go of their Culburra Beach house after 12 years but with the property now open for inspection there is maybe time for one more Easter break at the family getaway set just 100m from the sand.

The two-storey holiday house cost $560,000 in 2007, shortly after the birth of the couple’s second child.

Gardner has previously confessed to having “post-holiday blues” after returning from the coast. And she calls Culburra Beach “burradise”.

The agents describe the property as having “a warm and comfortable feel”.

It has a rustic dining table, fans for cooling, lots of holiday reading on the bookshelves, and that hammock on the front veranda.

The listing of the three-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage comes just weeks after the couple upgraded their home in Sydney, three-hour’s drive from the beach house.

They moved after eight years in a 1920s Artarmon property to a more modern Mosman home which cost $6 million after they pocketed $4.2 million for Artarmon.

The Culburra Beach house was initially listed for March 6 auction but is now rescheduled for March 20 through Ray White Culburra Beach.
