Every day of the Ekka will be jam packed with different entertainment shows, competitions and plenty of animals.

With only days to go to the Ekka, the daily schedule from August 12 to August 20 has been released.

Throughout the Ekka there will be daily shows including Ultimate Dog High Jump with Big Brother’s Dave Graham at 12.30pm and 3pm.

There will also be daily sheep shearing and working Dog Demonstrations with Jonathan and Vineta at the Sushi Hub Cat Precinct.

On Sunday there will also be special Goat Yoga at Stockmans Rest at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm.

Karmably co-founder Jay Kim said it was a mixture of the peaceful art of meditation with the madness of baby goats.

“The feedback we get is ‘we didn’t expect it but we expected it’ - as in both combinations to happen but at the same time they derive deeper meanings from the session,” he said.

“People come in with convoluted minds and when they leave they find they are a lot more confident with interacting with people because the animal therapy is shared.”

“It helps the goats are such gentle animals and they’ve always been used in holistic care but we find now people don’t expect this calmness to come from a crazy event.”

Over the span of the Ekka there will be various competitions including Woodchopping each day.
