SOPHIE Budack is hopeful she’ll walk out of Big Brother with $235,000 and a relationship.

The Darwin-based former elite gymnast will vie for the prize in Wednesday night’s public-voted live finale alongside Chad Hurst and Daniel Gorringe.

Regardless of the result, Budack hopes to move to Sydney and pursue the spark she had with Hurst in the Big Brother house.

“In the house Chad and I did talk about what we would do afterwards, we did talk about our first date, but when we came out we came into this extremely crazy world and I had to go straight back to Darwin. So it’s kind of been on hold,” Budack told Confidential.

“We kept in contact. He picked me up from the airport when I got to Sydney (last week) and even though the months apart was agony I said to Chad ‘it’s like we just saw each other’.

“I’m just excited for what the future holds.”

Budack, who trained with the Queensland Academy of Sport in Brisbane as a teenager, has had to fight for her spot in the final three, including being placed in a white room with no stimulation, which drew criticism from viewers.

“We didn’t have to go into the white room. Nothing was done against our will,” Budack said. “It was all a part of the game.”

She added: “We are all quite deserving winners, we all played a great game, I probably had to fight harder to keep my place, especially with the boys club and the masculine energy in the house.”

Budack said she would move to Sydney regardless of the result and would use the prize money to invest in her career.

“I have also spoken to mum about paying off her mortgage,” she said.

“I’m just glad I made it to the final three.”

The Big Brother live final airs Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel 7.
