Supermodel Shanina Shaik has thrown her vote behind Asian cuisine naming Mr. Wong as her standout, coincidentally joining Seven sports presenter Mark Beretta.

“Delicious food and a great atmosphere,” Beretta told The Sunday Telegraph of Justin Hemmes’ flagship Asian restaurant in the CBD.

“From the minute you walk in there’s a buzz and sharing their dishes is the best way to enjoy it.”

Voting for the People’s Choice is now open allowing dailytelegraph.com.au online subscribers to reorder the official list.

One reader and their guest will win a private dinner with delicious columnist and food writer Matt Preston at the restaurant named the People’s Choice.

Italian restaurants dominate the delicious. 100 list with at least 20 named among the state’s best — including newcomers Totti’s and Bacco Osteria.

It’s trend McCallum previously told The Sunday Telegraph was a surprise emergence.

“Australians love Italian cuisine — at its core it is welcoming, generous, delicious and not too stuffy, she said.

“It’s the only cuisine that we devote a whole issue to every year at delicious and it is one of our best selling issues year in and out.”

It’s something Sunrise co-host Natalie Barr agrees with, naming Italian fine-dining restaurant Pendolino as her pick.
