JESSICA Falkholt’s memory will live on with the late Home And Away actor’s final film to be released 10 months after she was tragically killed in a car accident.
Harmony, a young adult film directed by Corey Pearson, will open in cinemas in Australia on October 4, with distribution also secured for China and the US.
Falkholt was 29 when she and sister Annabelle and parents Vivan and Lars died after serial traffic offender Craig Whitall veered to the wrong side of the road and crashed into their car on December 26. She shot the movie several months prior to her death.
“The concept of a female ‘emotional superhero’ and ‘super-empath’ felt very original,” Cowlick Entertainment chief Peter Drinkwater said.
“Jessica’s relatability, look, sensitivity and acting talent meant she was the clear stand out for the lead role of Harmony.”
Harmony also stars Jacqueline McKenzie and Eamon Farren.
