British royal Zara Tindall is hopeful to represent the UK at the Tokyo Olympics.

The Queen’s granddaughter won a silver medal in Equestrian Team Eventing at the London 2012 games but narrowly missed out on a place on the team for Rio four years later.

With a “nice young horse” named Class Affair under her charge, she is looking towards Tokyo next year.

“I would love to go to another Olympics, we will just see how it goes but hopefully I have got a good one, if not for next year, for another (World) Championship as well,” Tindall, 38, told The Daily Telegraph at Royal Ascot in the UK.

“Now we only get to take three in a team to the Olympics so it kind of gets much harder to be the one to be picked.”

“It is just a great initiative to be a part of.”

Australian horse Houtzen won the Magic Millions in 2017 and ran at Ascot on Tuesday.

“It is amazing to see Magic Millions go all over the world in a way,” she said.
