Oscar Piastri and girlfriend Lily Zneimer spotted enjoying romantic Queensland holiday on Noosa river

Australian F1 Champion Oscar Piastri and his girlfriend Lily Zneimer have taken a break from the fast lane, indulging in a serene and romantic river cruise along the picturesque Noosa River in Queensland.

Australian Formula One champion Oscar Piastri has been spotted taking a well-deserved break on the Sunshine Coast, trading the roaring engines and cheering crowds for the serene flow of the Noosa River.

Accompanied by his girlfriend Lily Zneimer, the couple enjoyed a romantic scenic river tour with Noosa Dream Boats, exploring the tranquil Noosa River as part of their pre-Christmas holiday.

This relaxing getaway, captured in idyllic sunset cruise images shared on Instagram, offered a peaceful contrast to Piastri’s high-speed profession.

The Instagram post by Noosa Dream Boats humorously hinted at Piastri setting a ‘new lap record’ on the water.

“I had the pleasure of showing @oscarpiastri & @lilyzneimer around the Noosa waterways and set a new lap record,” the Instagram post read.

This personal downtime comes after a stellar year for Piastri, who has been crowned F1 Rookie of the Year following an impressive debut season.

However, Piastri’s Queensland holiday also coincides with a significant off-track initiative. The racing star is spearheading a road safety campaign, partnering with Quad Lock, a phone mounting firm.

The campaign, featuring the catchy slogan “Keep Your Hands Off It,” aims to combat the increasing issue of motorists using their phones while driving.

This initiative is particularly poignant given the alarming road toll this year, especially in Piastri’s home state of Victoria, with over 280 lives lost.

As part of the campaign, Piastri has urged drivers to stay responsible amid the holiday rush, stating that the festive season should be a time of joy, not tragedy.

“It’s silly to be drinking and driving. It’s silly to be speeding,’’ Piastri said.

As a professional driver, Piastri brings a unique perspective to the discussion about road safety.

“I know as a racing car driver I love to go fast but that doesn’t meet I need to do it on the road,” he added, emphasising that the skills and thrills of racing do not translate to public roads.
