SYDNEY mum Bree Hinton took matters into her own hands when she struggled to find stylish yet affordable swimmers for her baby son, Oliver.
Hinton was on maternity leave when she and husband Graeme took their son to Fiji.
It was in the lead-up to that holiday she found a gap in the market for kids’ swimwear and rash suits not emblazoned with cartoons or loud prints.

So she created her own kids’ swim label, Kicky (kickyswim.com.au), which launched this week.
“You don’t have to always put a bright, loud colour or a cartoon character on your child,” Hinton said.
“We really wanted something cool for our baby that still protected him from the sun but didn’t cost an arm and a leg.”
Kicky is the nickname Hinton’s husband called Oliver before he was born, as he would kick in her belly at the sound of his voice.
