MARGOT Robbie was in the pink last night as the excited Hollywood star made a triumphant return home.
Just 24 hours after treading the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles, she was in Sydney for the Australian premiere of the critically acclaimed I, Tonya.
On the same night of the premiere, Robbie also discovered she had received an Oscar nomination for best actress for her acclaimed portrayal of US figure skater Tonya Harding in the dark comedy.

“I’m so happy,” Robbie, wearing a dress by Aussie designer Michael Lo Sordo, said.
“I’m nervous for my friends and family to see it, but excited. I think they’ll like it, I hope they will.”
The Academy Awards’ nomination ceremony in Los Angeles brought mixed news for Australia, with I, Tonya snubbed for a best picture nomination. Robbie, as a producer, would have received a second nomination.
Robbie is considered to be a long shot to win the best actress Oscar at the March 4 ceremony in Hollywood.
