I’m a Celebrity Australia 2020: Nikki Osborne to enter jungle

A Queensland contestant has been revealed for the new season of I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! And while she’s an experienced camper, there’s one aspect of the adventure she’s dreading.

QUEENSLAND comedian Nikki Osborne admitted she had “lost her cool” prior to entering the South African jungle.

The 38-year-old mother-of-two from Redcliffe said the scariest part of agreeing to I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! was the number of vaccinations required.

“To be honest, the scariest thing to me was getting the vaccinations, and all the diseases you can get,” she told Confidential ahead of her flight.

“I looked at the list of things we have to vaccinate against, and it’s just the things you read in adventure books.

“I’ve been so cool about it for so long, and all of a sudden I’m not cool about it at all.”

While she admitted not watching the show previously may put her at a slight disadvantage, she was not worried about the camping side of things.

“I actually am looking forward to it; I think I’ll be all right,” she said.

“I grew up in Queensland camping.

“Snakes and spiders and shitting in a ditch doesn’t bother me, because we did that for fun growing up.

“Apparently you get a lot of down time, and being a mum, that sounds fantastic.”

But the comedian admits she may be sobbing a couple of days in missing her kids.
