You could say retail fashion was always on the cards for Lisa Seskin.

Seskin, 26, has launched her own shoe business, LMS, based on an online e-tailer model but this weekend hosts its first bricks and mortar pop up on William St in Paddington.
“I’ve lived and breathed fashion for as long as I can remember,” she said. “I guess being exposed to so much from such a young age, it really gave me the drive to take risks and back myself. I feel like I was born a retailer.”
LMS is named after her initials — Lisa Mandy Seskin.
She has a degree in business from UTS and says she’s not in competition with her dad’s businesses in any way.
“My dad has taught me everything,” she said.
“There’s no rivalry at all. I do want to make it on my own though. I am extremely strong-willed so we don’t always agree on everything so he knows when to let me do my thing and when to step back.”
