Dayne Zorko weds partner Talia at Brisbane’s Calile Hotel

The Lions’ grand final heartbreak was a distant memory for former skipper Dayne Zorko when he tied the knot at the weekend.

It might have only been three weeks ago, but the Brisbane Lions’ AFL grand final heartbreak would have been a distant memory for former skipper Dayne Zorko when he tied the knot with the love of his life at the weekend.

The nuptials were revealed in an Instagram post late on Sunday, in which Talia Zorko simply wrote, “Mr & Mrs Zorko ~ 21.10.23.”

The pair got married on Saturday at Fortitude Valley’s iconic Calile Hotel.

Talia Zorko is an event manager with Bupa and has a daughter with Zorko. Zorko also has a son with his former partner.

The news comes as Lions management finalise a one-year extension for the 34-year-old midfielder.

Lions general manager of football Danny Daly said: “He’s keen to go around again and we’re keen for him to go around again, it’s just in the hands of his management group now to sort all that out and get it done, but he’ll be on board for another year.”
