It was straight off the plane from India to a kids event for cricketer Dave Warner.
The former Australian Captain joined wife Candice and two of their three young daughters, Indi Rae and Ivy Mae, at a World Hug Day party overlooking Sydney Harbour at the Pier One Hotel.
“For us it is really important to be together as a family as much as possible,” Candice told Confidential.
“The girls really miss their dad so to pick him up at the airport this morning, it is always special to see daddy again. He is a bit jet-lagged and tired but he is a trooper and just loves being with his daughters.”
The event was put on by Universal Pictures to launch new merchandise ahead of the new Trolls movie, Trolls World Tour, in March.
Other famous faces at the event included Anna Polyviou, David Campbell and Terry Biviano.
“You come here and the backdrop is the beautiful Sydney Harbour and the bridge and it really makes you appreciate how lucky we are in Australia and how beautiful our city is.”
The Warner’s youngest daughter, Isla Rose, was born in June.
Her older sisters fully got into the action though, even walking in a kids runway parade.
“We will encourage our kids to do whatever their hearts desire but I don’t think they are going to have the height for modelling,” Candice said.
“David and I aren’t really that tall so if that is what they want to do, then go for it. Today is really just a bit of fun.”
