Scheduling time for each other is key to a successful marriage for Aussie chef Curtis Stone and his actor wife Lindsay Price.
The couple have been married for six years and have two children, juggling life at home with busy work lives.
Stone runs two restaurants in Los Angeles — Gwen and Maude — while Price stars in US TV series, Splitting Up Together.

“We have to make appointments with each other to talk about everything,” Price tells The Daily Telegraph.
“There are a lot of team meetings. I am not the most organised person by nature. Curtis is a businessman so he runs things better but in our household, neither one of us can really figure out how other people really do it perfectly. I think we are hard on ourselves. We manage to get through it at the end of the day and everyone is happy and fed and clothed.”
Stone added: “We do actually sit our arses down and get our calendars out and try to co-ordinate.”
The couple spoke to the Telegraph over lunch at his restaurant Gwen, named after his grandmother, for the launch of Australian designer Camilla’s collection into the US.
“The success is because of her (Price), she does all the heavy lifting,” Stone says.
“Life is good, we are happy.”
The couple are parents to sons Hudson and Emerson. Price describes her cooking skills as “not bad”. “I am not great but it is not terrible,” she says.
“I do feel self-conscious. He had to teach me how to properly chop an onion and how to properly open an avocado. Seriously, I was just such a bachelorette before we met.”
“She needs a script (recipe),” Stone says. “It comes with the territory of her job.”
Stone will open his third US restaurant in Dallas later this year and has filmed a new food and travel TV show that is yet to be announced.
