Dancing With The Stars judge Craig Revel Horwood has told West Indies cricket great Curtly Ambrose to stop whingeing when it comes to his tough critiques.
Horwood has quickly established himself as the no nonsense, tough talking judge on the reality dance show, and said the 2m tall retired fast bowler is the worst at taking his feedback on board.
“If I were to go and play cricket and wanted to be a faster bowler than him, I would need all the tips and tricks he could possibly manage to give me,” Horwood said.

“He should just stand there, listen to what I’m saying, take the criticism on board, come back and do a better job the following week, rather than complaining and whining about what I’ve said.
“Not everyone is going to be a great dancer, and he isn’t one, so he needs to put double the work in.
“He’s not used to criticism. He’s used to everyone dropping in the streets and falling to their knees.
“But unfortunately in the dance world it’s not really happening for him.”
A dancer of 40 years, Horwood said Jett Kenny, son of Lisa Curry and Grant Kenny, and comedian Denise Scott were the best at copping the hard truths, which he assured Confidential isn’t intended to be offensive.
But if the celebrities do get offended: “I couldn’t care less,” he said.
“They’ve put themselves in a competition and they’ve been paid to do a job and I want them to do their job as well as they can.
“My role is to tell people what is wrong with their dancing and any areas they can improve on.
“I am quite hard on the contestants but only because they need to learn, some people misconstrue that as being nasty.
“It’s better to point out everything they’re doing wrong rather than everything they’re doing right because they’ll come back next week doing all the wrong stuff.”
The second celebrity will be eliminated from the competition on Monday night, with The Living Room host Miguel Maestre the first to go last week.
