Charli Robinson and Liam Talbot feel their family is complete after welcoming their second daughter into the world last week.

Sharing the news with The Sunday Mail, the Hi-5 star turned Getaway presenter revealed she gave birth to Theadora Elle Talbot, born weighing 3.2kg, in Brisbane on Monday, with her race car driver fiance by her side.

Robinson underwent a last-minute caesarean when they discovered Theadora, a baby sister to 18-month-old Kensington, hadn’t turned and was in a breech position.

“That really upset me …. but it turns out there was cord around her neck so she knew better,” Robinson told The Sunday Mail after arriving home on Thursday.

“It was really exciting. I’m truly loving being in the newborn phase again.”

“Kensington was so gentle with her and just loves it.”

Robinson and Talbot met just four years ago and were unsure if they’d ever start a family after suffering a miscarriage a year later.

Now, having settled on acreage in Chandler in February with two children under two, they feel Theadora, which means Gift of God, has completed their family.

“The other day the memory of Liam and my first date in Sydney popped up and it was only four years ago,” Robinson said.

“When we met it felt like this is the one, like he completed that feeling in me, and then when we had Kensington, she brings out the best in both of us and she represents us, and now Theadora, it does feel like our family is complete.”

“She completes us as a package and it’s just all meant to be.”

Talbot picked the name Theadora to complement Kensington, who was named after his late father, mining magnate Ken Talbot.

For Robinson, they were both names she’d never come across during her decade-long stint in children’s group Hi-5.

Talbot, who popped the question to Robinson on live TV before his Bathurst win last year, was due to be racing in Europe but all events were cancelled due to the pandemic.

“There’s a lot of negativity in this world but we are just so lucky to have two healthy girls and we’re just excited to be a family,” he said.

“I’m so excited for the future, for them to be holding hands running around the backyard, it’s going to be so special.”
