It’s another girl.
Speaking for the first time since announcing she and husband David were expecting their third child on New Year’s Eve, Candice Warner, has exclusively revealed the gender of their bub to The Daily Telegraph.
“Yes, we have found out, it’s a girl,” Warner, 33, said of her barely there bump at an event for children’s literacy App, ABC Reading Eggs. “Another little girl, we’re really excited.”
Due in June, the baby girl will join big sisters Ivy, 2, and Indi, 4, who can’t wait to meet their new sibling.

“Like with my last two pregnancies I haven’t had any morning sickness, it’s all going really well and the girls are really excited,” she said.
“They just don’t understand why it’s taking so long and they keep asking me when the baby is coming.”
Her husband David, who is currently serving a 12-month sanction following the Australian cricket team’s infamous ball-tampering scandal, is also looking forward to the family’s impending arrival.
“Dave is thrilled, he can’t wait. You know what, he’s a fantastic cricketer but I always say he’s an even better father. He is so hands on and the girls just love him,” Candice said.
Speaking of David’s elbow injury which has prematurely brought him home from playing in the Bangladesh Premier League Candice said: “He’s fine, he’s back and straight into surgery and it’s more just a clean-up of the elbow to make sure that he’s right for upcoming games.”
“His priority is obviously to play for Australia again and get himself right for that, if he’s lucky enough to be selected,” she added.
There’s no denying it’s been a tough year for the Warner family, but with David’s ban ending on March 28, they are preparing to readapt back to life pre-scandal.
“It’s all about readjusting again for us now and knowing Dad’s back on the road but the girls are great travellers and they know what he does.”
“He has spent quite a lot of time at home this summer which has been so beautiful, so when he’s not there it’s like ‘where’s Dad?’ or ‘where’s Dave?’”
Candice, however, politely declined to comment on whether she felt David has been thrown under the bus by Steve Smith and Cameron Bancroft who have both recently spoken out about the sand paper saga, implying that the strategy was Warner’s idea.
“I’m not going to comment on any of that,” she said.
“Dave’s good, Dave’s happy. He’s got another child on the way and he’s a great dad and playing cricket, so he’s fine.”
