What started as being a fan of Australian fashion designer Camilla has turned into a budding new friendship with the wife of British pop rock superstar Robbie Williams. Camilla Franks and Ayda Field even holidayed together in Ibiza.

What started as being a fan of Australian fashion designer Camilla has turned into a budding new friendship with the wife of British pop rock superstar Robbie Williams.
Camilla Franks and Ayda Field even holidayed together on the Spanish island of Ibiza earlier this month.
“I wore Camilla to my baby shower for my son Charlie,” she said, adding that she wore the Aussie designer to her 40th birthday bash in May. “I feel like Camilla has been in my life for all of the important moments.”
Franks and Field met for the first time face-to-face in May at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles when the designer launched her first US bricks and mortar stores.
They hit it off immediately and met up again in Spain this month. If Ayda has her way, they may get to spend more time together with Field one day hoping to call Australia home.
“I could definitely see myself living there one day,” she said. “I know Rob loves being over there and I love it there too. To me it is like England California. Englifornia — culture and sun with that laid back Aussie nature plus that English vibe too. We really love it there.”
Field said she and Williams will be visiting Australia in 2020.
“I think there are plans to be over there I’d imagine next year. He’s got some music that he is doing and we always like to go to Australia with the music that we’ve got.”
