The ‘mindfulness consultant’ will today unveil his new subscription based social media project, Soul-A-Live.
“It is live streamed meditation classes delivered through a private Instagram account,” McLeod told Confidential.
“At set times, just like any other class, we will be running live stream meditation classes. The good thing about it is that it is on a platform that everyone spends a lot of time on. And unlike a lot of other meditation services, most of them are recorded apps, there is a gap there because we are live.”
McLeod, 35, was a contestant on Sophie Monk’s season of The Bachelorette in 2017 and subsequently appeared on Bachelor in Paradise.
On top of the Soul-A-Live, McLeod works as a consultant to corporate clients on mindfulness covering issues like stress management and conflict resolution.
He studied meditation for six months in India.
“This is something I wanted to reach that audience that I’ve been able to engage with from the TV show,” he said. “There is a lot of noise on social media that makes people feel insecure and whatever so this is hopefully something different.”
As for romance, McLeod is single and, for now, focused on his new business project.
“I was seeing someone privately for a while and I tried to keep that as private as possible,” he said. “That didn’t work out so right now I am single and I am just really focusing on trying to get this out there and making this happen.”
STAN WALKER IS BACK
Stan Walker is back.
After a five year absence, during which time he battled stomach cancer, the celebrated singer will hit the road for a run of shows across Australia in August to coincide with the release of his new EP, Faith Hope Love.
“I have been away for a bit, creating and growing,” the 28-year-old said.
“Now the time is finally right to unleash my new music and tour. It’s so important for me to get back to all my incredible fans that have been with me over these ten years. The love and support, particularly these last three years when I was going through cancer has been overwhelming and I want to get out there and say thank you to you all.”
Walker will perform at Sydney’s Max Watts venue on August 21. He has dedicated his EP to the victims of the recent Christchurch shootings.

ERIN HOLLAND IS ENGAGED
Model and TV presenter Erin Holland is officially off the market after cricketer beau Ben Cutting popped the question yesterday.
Cutting got down on one knee mid way through a picnic and proposed to his girlfriend of four years at Palm Beach on the Gold Coast.
“Of course I said yes,” Holland told Confidential. “I was silent for a bit, shocked and stunned but I am incredibly happy.”
The engagement came as a complete surprise to Holland, who even last week told Confidential she didn’t expect a proposal “any time soon”.
The pair met through friends and have mostly had a long distance relationship with Cutting playing cricket tournaments all over the world for seven months of the year, including for Brisbane Heat and the Mumbai Indians.
Holland is based in Sydney but regularly flies to Brisbane, where the couple have a house with their rescue pup, Sicari.
“We spend a lot of time on planes but we make it work,” said Holland, showing off her large Affinity Diamond sparkler. “We decided a long time ago that we would do whatever it takes to make our relationship work.”
TRIBUTE TO AVIVII
Australian Avicii fans will have a chance to remember the international DJ.
An Avicii Cube art installation will be stationed at Sydney’s Martin Place on Saturday and Sunday with similar cubes in 15 other cities across the globe, from Tokyo to Sao Paulo, Oslo and Toronto.
The idea is to bring fans together for the release of his album titled Avicii: Tim.
“When you step inside and put your hand on the illuminated screen, the Cube is activated and searches for another active Cube somewhere in the world,” a statement from Universal Music read. “When that connection is made, both of you will listen to the same clip from the album.”
Avicii — whose real name was Tim Bergling — was 28 when he died in April last year with his new album a collection of tracks the musician was working on before his death.
STARS SHARE PASSION FOR VINTAGE FASHION
This is US actor Jermel Nakia will showcase his stunning fashion collection at The Sydney Fair from today, which includes a glorious Gilles Montezin coat worn by Lady Gaga.
Missouri born Nakia plays Young William on the hit NBC drama, but not many people know he also has a passion for vintage fashion.
“I was modelling in Paris and Milan and I was buying things in flea markets and that snowballed into this career that I actually didn’t anticipate happening,” he told Confidential.
“I have this affinity for beautiful things.
“I have everything from Victorian through to the ’90s and I provide wardrobe for period movies and TV shows and dress jewels for red carpet events.”
The Gilles Montezin coat was worn by Lady Gaga in television show American Horror story and the same design, but different coat, was worn by Beyonce during her global sellout Formation tour.
He also dressed several cast from Mad Men, including January Jones and Elisabeth Moss and contributed costumes to shows True blood, Big Eyes and Argo.
Nakia’s entire priceless collection will be on show at The Sydney Fair at Randwick Racecourse from today until Sunday.
