FORMER Neighbours actor Dichen Lachman is ready for some face time with her fans in Sydney this weekend.
Lachman, who played Katya on the Aussie soap for three years until 2007, is best known internationally for her work on a range of hit American TV series, including Dollhouse, The 100, Being Human, Torchwood, Agents of SHIELD, The Last Ship and Animal Kingdom.
She is one of several actors with cult followings to be taking part in the annual Oz Comic-Con convention in Sydney this weekend.

“One woman got my autograph tattooed on her arm when I met her at a convention,” Lachman told Confidential. “There are so many memorable moments and I’ve met a lot of incredible people at these things.”
Cary Elwes, of The Princess Diaries fame, was a last-minute addition to Oz Comic-Con that is held at Sydney’s International Convention Centre tomorrow and Sunday.
Other stars attending the fan event include Dominic Sherwood and Matthew Daddario from Shadowhunters, as well as Gates McFadden from Star Trek and Nikolai Nikolaeff, who is currently on the big screen with Mark Wahlberg in Mile 22.
Sydney’s Nathaniel Buzolic finished up five yearsplaying Kol Mikaelson on hit US series The Originals with the final episode aired in July.
He’s now focusing on travelling.
“I am travelling and spending a lot of time in the Middle East, which is really cool,” the actor, also known for his work on Pretty Little Liars, Supernatural and Bones, said.
