VERSATILITY was front of mind when Kat Hoyos signed on to her latest film project.
Known for hit TV series Here Come The Habibs, Hoyos wanted to show another side to her acting by playing Dee in new Aussie flick Chasing Comets.
“Dee is a bit of a tomboy and very different from what people have seen me as commercially, so it is nice to step away from that and show people that there is another side to my acting and change perceptions,” Hoyos explained.
“With Hollywood, that is where my head is going, there are so many different genres where you can push those boundaries.”
Chasing Comets, in cinemas now, is based on ex-footballer Jason Stevens’ life and also stars Isabel Lucas, Rhys Muldoon and George Houvardas.
