They’re the shining stars of social media dedicating their lives to the picture-perfect image and making it look easy.
From fitness influencers and models to make-up artists and chefs, a wide range of Queensland-based influencers have stacked up a following of more than one million people.
Of the lot, the state’s most notable influencer based on followers is Sarah Magusara, a TikTok influencer who shares dancing and comedy videos.
Tammy Hembrow, a Gold Coast native has made her mark creating content in the fitness and wellness space.
Hembrow, who is engaged to and expecting a baby with Queensland former iron man Matt Poole, has 14.2 million Instagram followers.
The 27-year-old has successfully leveraged several businesses from her following, including Saski Collection and her TammyFit app.
Hembrow shares two children with her ex partner Reece Hawkins, who has more than 700,000 followers himself.
Her sisters Emilee and Amy Hembrow have also grown a large social media following, with Emilee having 1.1 million followers while Amy has 277,000.
Other fitness and wellness influencers with huge social media followings include Emily Skye, Rachel Dillon, Ashy Bines and Chloe Szepanowski.
TikTok has also seen influencers stack up millions of followers with Birkdale’s Rhylee Passfield using makeup to transform herself into characters, including Dobby the Elf, Wonder Woman and Patrick Star.
She has attracted a following of 1.9 million people on TikTok.

30. Jansen Andre

Private retreat chef Jansen Andre shares his recipes on social media.
He is recognised for playing Sebastian in Summer Heights High, the love interest of Chris Lilley’s character Ja’mie.
29. Kurt Coleman
106,000 Instagram followers
Kurt Coleman rose to fame in 2013 when he shared his self confidence and love for fake tan online.
In January, he claimed to be Australia’s original influencer.
28. Ellidy Pullin
161,000 Instagram followers
Model Ellidy Pullin’s followers have been eager to follow her journey as a new mum and through pregnancy after she lost her partner Australian snowboarder Alex ‘Chumpy’ Pullin in 2020.
He drowned while he was spearfishing at Palm Beach on the Gold Coast, understood to have been from a shallow water blackout.
Pullin conceived her daughter Minnie after undergoing IVF using Chumpy’s sperm which was retrieved posthumously.

Brisbane influencer Lily Brown founded luxury sleepwear brand Chille.
She has 343,000 followers on Instagram.
23. Abbie Chatfield

After finding fame on The Bachelor, Abbie Chatfield has become a television and radio personality.

Australian fitness star Emily Skye has created a huge following and created several businesses off the back of her success.
She runs the Emily Skye Fit app and cosmetic company James Cosmetics.
3. Gabby Epstein

Gold Coast born Gabby Epstein made her mark as a bikini model in 2015 after competing in Miss Universe Australia.
She now creates content on OnlyFans.
In 2015 she told the Gold Coast Bulletin she earnt more for one Instagram post than she would for four days work as a model.
2. Tammy Hembrow

Tammy Hembrow has leveraged her huge following into two businesses, Saski Collection and TammyFit.
