George Clooney and Julia Roberts appeared to be making the most of South East Queensland’s glorious weather as they were photographed at a Gold Coast beach on Thursday.
As filming continues for the Hollywood super stars’ latest romantic comedy, Clooney and Roberts were both dressed in relaxed linen attire as they soaked up the sun alongside fellow cast members.
Universal Pictures’ Ticket to Paradise was meant to be filmed in Bali but due to ongoing travel restrictions and the threat of Covid, executives moved production to Queensland in March.
Roberts touched down in Sydney in October but the longtime friends have since been spotted at a number of destinations across the sunshine state.
The movie has been partially filmed in Brisbane, the Whitsunday and now the Gold Coast and is expected to be released in 2022.
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, earlier in the year, said the film is expected to generate $47 million and more than 270 jobs for the local economy.
Ticket to Paradise is the fourth film Clooney and Roberts have starred in together and centres around a divorced couple who travel to Bali in a desperate bid to stop their daughter getting married.
