Prince Harry blames everyone for his problems in his book Spare, apart from himself

Prince Harry’s memoir is a whingefest of all of his perceived slights. This former soldier comes across as a cry baby, not the war hero he wants to portray.

Prince Harry has become the most disappointing royal since Edward VIII.

Edward famously abdicated the throne, but with his memoir Spare, Harry has abdicated all responsibility for his actions.

In doing so, he has arguably done as much damage to the royal family.

The book, which has been leaked, carries a host of mean-spirited, one-sided, dubious claims, that will heighten tensions at Buckingham Palace and further widen the rift between the royal brothers.

Prince William is painted as the villain to make Harry appear wronged at every turn.

Readers will be left wondering where Harry’s honour has gone, when he blames his brother William and wife Kate for the ‘Nazi uniform’ scandal in 2005.

Then, Harry was a 20-year-old at the military training school Sandhurst, when he made the decision to wear a German uniform with a swastika armband to a friend’s ‘native and colonial’ party.

He says at the time he asked for the opinion of the now Prince and Princess of Wales as to whether to wear the Nazi regalia or a pilot uniform and claims they “howled” with laughter at the idea, which is why he chose that option.

It was a stupid decision to wear it and it furthered his reputation as an aristocratic party boy, capable of making terrible errors of judgement.

Before the anecdote in the book, this is the one mistake Harry actually owned. He said as much in the Netflix series, for which he got paid millions of dollars.

But no, apparently, he’s now claiming it wasn’t all his fault, his brother and his wife Kate were to blame too.

Boohoo! He sounds like an eight-year-old, not a 38-year-old father of two.

He then reveals in another incident in 2019 that his brother pushed him over in his cottage in the grounds of Kensington Palace after a row over Meghan Markle.

Apparently, William was “piping hot” when he arrived and grabbed him by the collar, breaking his necklace and pushing him to the floor where he fell on a dog bowl that broke.

There is no excuse for physical violence, but one has to ask why William was so incensed? There seems to be no proper explanation from Saint Harry.

He then blames his dad for not telling him about his mother’s death in the right way.

King Charles sat him down on the bed to break the news of the car accident, calling him ‘my dear son’, but didn’t hug him.

When his dad barred Meghan from the Queen’s death bed, Harry wrote it was “disrespectful … I did not tolerate it from him”. Perhaps he hadn’t considered the idea that Meghan wasn’t welcome because she wasn’t particularly liked and had upset, not only William and Kate, but allegedly a number of staff who claimed they had been bullied by her.

Let’s not also forget she had spent half her time as a member of the family in California, so could hardly be considered close.

But nothing is Harry’s fault. No doubt that’s what Meghan is telling him constantly, because that is what she’s done with her own family, blaming her ‘wicked’ stepsister or her greedy, but gullible father for leaking stories to the press.

In the Netflix series the couple even blamed the media for Meghan’s miscarriage.

And in the Oprah interview she blamed Kate for making her cry over the bridesmaids’ outfits, not the other way round.

Every perceived slight in Harry’s life has been published either via Netflix or the book.

But Harry still has the gall to think the family should be apologising to him.

He wants a Royal Commission-like inquest into his alleged mistreatment.

Oh spare us Harry!
