The Queen gave Harry her blessing for interviews based on a false pitch he gave her

Prince Harry reportedly told The Queen his TV series was about soldiers’ mental health, which is why the monarch gave him her blessing - instead he unloaded on his family.

Harry can't heal rift unless Meghan is 'out of the picture'

The Queen gave Prince Harry her personal blessing for his Apple TV series based on a false pitch he gave her it would be about the mental health of soldiers.

Instead, the episode so far aired was used to launch “personal attacks” on his family, a royal source told The Sun.

Prince Harry reportedly told his grandmother in 2018 he wanted to make a series about mental health with Oprah - but palace insiders allege his pitch was “clearly misleading” and the soldiers angle was pushed to the side in favour of Prince Harry detailing failings in the way Prince Charles raised him.

“Those around the Queen and Prince Charles are absolutely gobsmacked by what has happened,” The Sun quoted a palace source as saying.

“It is a question of trust, and honestly any of that is hanging by a thread at the moment.

“No one within the Palace circles has anything but sympathy for Harry’s trauma and troubled life, but there is upset and discomfort at him sharing it on an international television show.

“Certainly the intimate detail of his hardships paint a very negative picture of his family and upbringing. Many people have a different view.”

HARRY AND OPRAH TO SPEAK AGAIN

Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey will sit down again for another chat – a week after the explosive release of their docuseries that rocked the royal family.

Fans can expect more “truth bombs” as the pair again discuss mental health in a follow up to the docuseries.

Called The Me You Can’t See: A Path Forward, it is described as a “virtual Town Hall”.

Apple TV+ said it would feature some of those who were interviewed in the series – including actress Glenn Close, who will give more details about their stories.

Other stars who featured in the documentary series are thought to also be making an appearance in the follow up.

It comes as Winfrey was asked by best friend, journalist Gayle King whether she believes Prince Harry’s openness “is going to help him with the royal family,” Winfrey said she was unsure.

“I don’t know if it helps with the royal family,” Winfrey said.

“But this is what I do know – is that being able to express your own personal truth in a way that benefits you and also helps other people to see the truth in themselves.”

She said that critics of Prince Harry’s vocalisation are “missing” the idea that he wants to maintain a modicum of privacy as a basic desire.

“Privacy doesn’t mean silence,” she added.

The docuseries premiered last week, with contributions from singer Lady Gaga, Syrian refugee Fawzi, and DeMar DeRozan of the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs.

Journalist Omid Scobie, the author of Finding Freedom and the Sussexes trusted media friend, tweeted: “Millions have already streamed #TheMeYouCantSee, and now @AppleTV confirm that @Oprah and Prince Harry are following up the series with a ‘town hall-style conversation’ special.

“A Path Forward will be available from May 28 and offers further insight from guests and their stories.”

Apple claimed the series has been the number one most watched program worldwide on AppleTV+ since its launch.

‘ROCKING THE BOAT’

An Apple spokesman said: “Apple TV+ announces ‘The Me You Can’t See: A Path Forward,’ a town hall conversation hosted by co-creators and executive producers Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry, with subjects and experts from the critically acclaimed, multi-part documentary series exploring mental health and emotional wellbeing, premiering Friday, May 28 for free on Apple TV+.

“Following the global debut of the groundbreaking documentary series, The Me You Can’t See: A Path Forward, Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry reunite with advisers and participants for a thought-provoking, wide-ranging conversation about mental health and emotional wellbeing, and where we go from here.”

Prince Harry accused his family of showing “total neglect” to his mental health woes and claimed that Prince Charles made him “suffer”.

And the former royal’s appearance in the explosive documentary left the Queen “deeply upset” – although Prince Charles has no intention of “cutting off his son”, despite his hurt, reports The Sun.

He accused the royal family of smearing Meghan, who cried into her pillow every night, and said his wife didn’t give into her suicidal thoughts because of how “unfair” it would have been to him.

But Prince Charles came in for particular criticism from his youngest son – with Prince Harry saying his father did little to help him through his struggles.

Earlier this month a royal author claimed Prince Harry “wanted to rock the boat” with the Oprah Winfrey interview.

Ingrid Seward said the Duke of Sussex “knew what he was doing” when he and Meghan Markle did the televised tell-all chat, but he “doesn’t regret it for one minute”.

During the conversation with Oprah, the couple made a series of shocking allegations – most damagingly of all that an unnamed member of the Royal Family had made a racist comment about the colour of son Archie’s skin.

MEGHAN, HARRY FIRE NANNY

It has also emerged that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dramatically fired Archie’s nanny following a mysterious “incident” in the middle of the night.

According to Meghan’s friend and biographer, Omid Scobie, the nanny was sacked after just a few days in the day when the Sussexes were still experimenting with childcare options.

The “incident” in question, which Scobie didn’t explain, was serious enough to permanently put the couple off childcare, according to the Mirror.

Speaking on British TV, Scobie said: “Very few people know the real story behind it.

“After Archie’s arrival, Harry and Meghan wanted some help to establish a sleep pattern. They hired a night nanny.

“While I can’t go into someone else’s employment details for legal reasons, it was an incident on one of the first nights that put the couple off from having a night nurse.”

KKW’S APP ACCUSED OF CASHING IN ON MEGXIT

Kim Kardashian’s smartphone game has been accused of cashing in on Megxit.

In her “Hollywood” app — in which played try to become A-list celebs — there is now a “Royal Runaways” level, which takes aim at the “cold and distant” monarch.

Two characters, Princess Bianca and Prince Aston, reveal they want to quit royal life, and even give an Oprah Winfrey-style interview in which Bianca says: “Prince Aston has done everything in his power to welcome me into the Royal Family.

“Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about everyone in his family.

“The Queen is a symbol of tradition, but as times change, perhaps some traditions become outdated.”

Meanwhile, the Queen brands the couple “selfish and irresponsible”.

One player described the new addition to the game as “in poor taste”

MEGHAN ‘INTRODUCED HARRY TO ANCESTRAL HEALING’

Meghan Markle has reportedly introduced Prince Harry to “ancestral healing” which he claimed will help him “break the cycle of genetic pain”.

The Duke has previously claimed his father Prince Charles “suffered” due to his upbringing by the Queen and Prince Philip, then “treated me the way he was treated”.

A source close to Meghan told the Daily Mail: “Meghan is the one who introduced Harry to the term ancestral healing”

“She said she learned about generational trauma from her mum who started taking her to weekly services at Agapé International and credits its founder Michael Beckwith for teaching her about spirituality.

“’Meghan said both she and Harry come from a long lineage of pain and suffering, generations of genetic baggage and that it’s now up to them to break the cycle once and for all.”

ARCHIE DUBBED ‘MINI-ME’

Meanwhile, fans have dubbed Archie Meghan’s “mini me” after a childhood photo of her resurfaced online.

According to The Sun, royal watcher Julieth was first to make the comparison after posting the photo of six-month-old Meghan on Twitter alongside recent footage of Archie, two, sitting on a swing in the family’s $20 million California home.

It’s believed the young Meghan was sitting on the lap of her estranged half-sister Samantha Markle in the photo, with royal fans saying that the mum and son duo definitely look alike.

The cute footage of Archie appeared in Prince Harry’s new AppleTV+ documentary, The Me You Can’t See, which aired last week – alongside a new coloured picture of the toddler.

Pictures of Archie and baby Meghan both show each of them with curly brown hair, big dark eyes and super cute chubby cheeks as they both flash a cheeky grin.

“Archie’s been looking a lot like Meghan,” Julieth wrote with fans quickly agreeing that the little boy looks more like his mum than his dad Prince Harry.

Many fans pointed out that they had the “same smile” while one agreed: “Yes, very much like Meghan, handsome!”

“I have always said that Archie looks like his mother from the 1st time we saw him at the photo call,” one eagle-eyed royal fan wrote.

Adding: “He’s a mini- Meghan with his curly and wavy hair.”

Another wrote: “I think he is changing from Harry to Meghan’s faces at the moment. I can’t wait to see which face will finally stick”.

While someone else shared: “He looks like both parents now.”

Until now, royal fans haven’t seen Archie’s face since he was a young baby, but new footage shared by Prince Harry last week offer a glimpse of what the two-year-old looks like now.

Colour footage of Archie and his parents, Meghan and Prince Harry, playing on the beach was shown in Harry Apple TV documentary series, which fans first saw in black and white during the couple’s explosive Oprah Winfrey chat.

While you can’t see a close up of Archie’s sweet face, the young boy is facing the camera as he runs along the sand, finally offering viewers a glimpse of his face.

This comes just after Harry and Meghan released a new photo of Archie for his second birthday, however, fans were disappointed that he had his back turned to the camera while holding balloons.

In the documentary, there’s also a throwback shot of one-year-old Archie sitting on his mum’s lap while isolating in their LA mansion, which was taken at the time of his first birthday last year.
