SHE’S not usually one to shy away from baring her flesh in revealing gowns on the red carpet, but Jennifer Lopez chose to cover up for the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
The 47-year-old stunned in a sophisticated, long-sleeved dress that covered up her arms, shoulders and famous legs. A sheer silver embellished detail on her chest added a hint of sexiness to the look.
Lopez smouldered in the black gown by Reem Arca that swept across the carpet and clung to her infamous curves as she pulled a serious power pout.
She added a gothic edge to the look with smoky eye makeup, black nails and chunky vintage jewellery. She wore her hair in a tight ponytail that cascaded down her back.
As well as slaying on the red carpet, the performer also picked up an award during the ceremony — her first People’s Choice Awards after six nominations.
Taking home the gong for Favourite Crime Drama TV Actress for her role in Shades Of Blue, Lopez told the audience she “didn’t expect” to win before going on to thank her eight-year-old twins.
“And to my two favourite people, Max and Emme, my twins: Everything that I do is for you. I love you so much. Thank you so much everybody, I really appreciate this. Thank you,” she said.
