OVERSIZED hoodies, pastel bomber jackets and crop tops for blokes ... welcome to Rihanna’s wardrobe.
The Needed Me singer unveiled her spring/summer ’17 Fenty x Puma collection at Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild as part of Paris Fashion Week.
It was described by US Vogue as “a tongue-in-cheek take on Marie Antoinette”, while Jezebel noted the daring clothes were “designed to look great on Rihanna and fashion models only”.
Rihanna, 28, told Dazed the look of her latest line was: “If Marie Antoinette was going to the gym and needed something to wear”.
Models clutched pastel pink oriental fans with the “Puma” logo printed on them, wore dramatic flared pants and corsets, and a “hoodie with a bra top affixed to its front”, Vogue pointed out.
The outfits were teamed with Rihanna’s trademark Puma platform sneakers, which are already in huge demand online.
There was no sign of Riri’s rumoured boyfriend, rapper Drake, who is touring in the US, but her supermodel friends Sara Sampaio and Jourdan Dunn sat in the front row, along with Italian blogger Chiara Ferragni and singer Charli XCX.
Rihanna signed on as Puma’s creative director in 2014 and was last year credited with boosting sales for the sporting lifestyle brand.
