MODEL Gigi Hadid strutted the red carpet at New York Fashion Week clutching a ridiculous, eye-catching accessory you’re either going to love or hate.

The model turned up at New York Fashion Week with either the dumbest or greatest handbag of all time — depending on your own hankering for a nice glass of bubbles.

No lippie, tissues or bank cards in Hadid’s handbag — instead she strutted the red carpet clutching a clear satchel encasing nothing but a big ol’ bottle of pink champagne.

Hadid’s bright yellow ensemble and champagne bag came courtesy of designer Brandon Maxwell, who the model credited on Instagram with saving “fashion emergencies with yellow jumpsuits and pink champagne”.

Honestly, this see-through rosé handbag might be our favourite ridiculous celebrity fashion accessory since Jennifer Lopez debuted denim jean thigh-high boots last month.
