Wearing fishnets, Hollywood star Demi Moore joined supermodel Bella Hadid for Rihanna’s second lingerie runway extravaganza, Savage X Fenty in Los Angeles.

With supermodels, sexy lingerie and nipple covers, Rihanna has staged a full-scale runway show for her Savage X Fenty line.

The catwalk spectacular featured mega-models Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk and Cara Delevingne, with Paris Hilton and Demi Moore also posing for the Work singer’s latest presentation, held in Los Angeles.

This is the second year Rihanna’s size-inclusive Savage X Fenty brand – part of her fashion and beauty empire estimated to be worth $US600 million – has held a runway event, which embraces all shapes, sizes, ages and genders.

Touted as the successor for Victoria’s Secret’s indefinitely-postponed fashion show, the beauty and fashion mogul dubbed the event “Savage X Fenty Vol. 2”.

In scenes reminiscent of her iconic Hollywood role in Striptease, Moore, 57, appeared alongside Hadid, 23, wearing the “Savage Not Sorry” black lace thong teddy ($US74.95) and “Commitment Issues” fishnet body stocking ($US49.95), along with dramatic makeup and diamonds, Page Six noted.

When asked about her design inspo, Rihanna, 32, said: “It’s a mood thing always.”

“So much inspiration comes from my mood in regards to my fashion,” she said during a prerecorded segment as part of the runway spectacle, according to Vanity Fair.

“Sexuality is personal, it’s something that has to be owned or earned.”

Rihanna also offered her thoughts on body positivity and diversity, something her Savage X Fenty line is known for (bras in are stocked up to a 46DDD, with underwear available up to 3XL).

“When I imagine something, I imagine everyone that I know and love being a part of it,” Rihanna said.

“I want to make stuff that I can see on the people that I know, and they come in all different shapes and sizes, races, religions … I really care that they are a part of what I do.”

Addressing how Rihanna staged a full-scale runway show during the current pandemic, Rihanna said there were “a lot of moving parts” to consider.

“We wanted to make sure everyone was healthy first and foremost,” Rihanna told US Vogue.

“With the global pandemic, it’s tough, but we’re tough cookies, and we love a challenge!”

“It’s definitely been an unusual process,” she told the magazine. “We’re in wild, uncharted times right now, and we’re all just trying to figure it out [because] everything has been flipped on its head.”

Rihanna explained that preparations for the show were held over Zoom and FaceTime – a challenge due to her “control freak” nature.

“I want to have my hands physically on everything, and now it’s all being sent by email, pictures, and video, so it’s different,” Rihanna told Vogue. “It’s kind of annoying for a control freak like me!”

Savage X Fenty is now the most high-profile annual lingerie show after the indefinite postponement of Victoria’s Secret.

VS has faced significant business woes including declining sales, criticism over its choice of models, and increased competition from other brands, particularly Savage X Fenty.

Rihanna’s multimillion-dollar event – featuring performances by Travis Scott and Bad Bunny – was filmed for a broadcast special (a la Victoria’s Secret) to air globally on Amazon Prime.

Rihanna – the businesswoman – has built a brand built on diversity, using models from all walks of life and even curvy mannequins to showcase her designs in a New York pop-up retail store last year.

“We always just try to push ourselves,” she previously told E!.

“We pride ourselves in challenging ourselves to do better and push ourselves further, and how can we get our message across in a more impactful way?”

The Work singer has built a lucrative business empire including her Savage X Fenty brand, Fenty luxury label, and Fenty Beauty makeup collection.

Stocked in Australia at Sephora, Fenty Beauty includes a Pro Filt’r soft matte long-wear foundation which comes in 40 shades to reflect ethnic skin tones.
