IT’S not unusual for Ed Sheeran to take photos with fans. But when he posed with this listener, he had no idea the snap would go viral for all the wrong reasons.

ED Sheeran accidentally had one of the most hilarious fan pictures of all time when his hair was caught in a gust of wind.

As The Sun reports, the singer’s iconic ginger locks take on a life of their own and stand on end in the snap taken and tweeted by fan Talia Calandra.

Sharing the hilarious moment with the world, she tweeted: “I met Ed Sheeran today and a gust of wind made my pic with him 10x more exciting.”

Since the unfortunate photo was tweeted a week ago, it’s been shared over 48,000 times.

This isn’t the only gaffe the 26-year-old singer has suffered this week. Today, he fell victim to the cheeky viral hashtag “Sheeranalbumparty.” The hashtag was started as a joke by BBC Radio 1 host Greg James, recreating the madness that came with Susan Boyle’s legendary #susanalbumparty of 2012.
