Chris Hemsworth is every woman’s dream man, but his marriage to wife Elsa Pataky is rock solid.

Ahead of his tenth wedding anniversary with Elsa Pataky, 44, the Hollywood superstar, 37, revealed the secret to their success and why Elsa feels no jealousy toward the millions of women who lust over her husband.

“[Elsa] knows I only have eyes for her,” he told New!magazine on Monday.

That doesn’t mean they haven’t faced their own struggles though. The Thor actor did admit that his marriage has faced “challenges” along the way.

“There are challenges and you have to work hard – a good marriage doesn’t just happen,” Chris explained.

With everything going on in the world with the COVID-19 pandemic, the actor admitted that lockdown forced him to have some much-needed time with his wife and their eight-year-old daughter, India, and six-year-old twin sons, Sasha and Tristan.

“It has been great to be a part of Marvel over the last decade and I’ve loved the travel and work, but it has meant a lot of time away from home,” he said.

“To not be dedicated to by a schedule and to be able to have proper quality family time has been amazing.”

In August, Elsa spoke to Body & Soul about her “perfect” marriage to Chris, insisting that they have had their “ups and downs.”

“It’s funny that people think of us as a perfect couple. No way,” she confessed.

“It’s been ups and downs, and we still keep working at the relationship. I think a relationship is constant work. It’s not easy,” she added.

She said that any hardship they’ve encountered has only made their union stronger.

“I always try to see the positives of things.”

The actress said that one such struggle of their early days as husband and wife came as she adjusted to motherhood, admitting she felt “lost” in the new role.

“I remember feeling a bit lost when I had India,” she said.

“I thought my life was going to be the same (when I had kids) and I would keep working. But I couldn’t. Chris would come home and say, ‘How was your day?’ And I didn’t feel proud to say: I’m just a mum. But you should. Because it’s the hardest but greatest job in the world.”

Once Elsa became used to her role as a mother, she decided to hit pause on her career, she said.

“I really liked being with the kids.

“I wanted to take them to school and pick them up every day. I just love that moment. I didn’t grow up with my parents (around) and I missed that so much, so I wanted to give that to my kids.”

Chris and Elsa were married in 2010 after only dating for three-months.

After they spent several years living in Los Angeles, the pair moved to Byron Bay 2014 where they built a $20 million mansion.
