Celebrities spend summer holidays in world’s most glamorous locations

Australian media moguls, celebrities, musicians, and rich-kid heirs have jetted out of the country for some down time in some of the world’s most glamorous locations.

Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler reportedly split

Sydney’s rich-listers have swapped the beaches of Vaucluse for the slopes of Vail and their harbourfront Point Piper properties for the pristine waters of St Barts.

Australian media moguls, celebrities, musicians, and rich-kid heirs jetted out of the country this month for some down time in some of the world’s most glamorous locations.

Courchevel, Colorado, the Caribbean and Aspen remain some of the most coveted locations for Australia’s affluent families, thanks to their showstopping scenery and sophisticated cities filled with world-renowned art, luxury designer stores and unrivalled culture.

Often on the hunt for privacy and down time, these wealthy names pay big bucks to stay at these exy locations.

If you’ve got the money, the go-to accommodation in Aspen is often at The Little Nell, in

Courchevel the cashed-up stay at the five star L’Apogee, and at St Barts, Eden Rock is where the elite go, paying up to $13,000 a night.

Claire and Ryan Stokes

Channel 7 media mogul Ryan Stokes and his wife Claire swapped their $16 million Darling Point home for their chalet in snowy Vail, where they will spend the month with their three young children.

Roxy Jacenko and Pixie and Hunter Curtis

Jacenko has spent the year swapping her time between Singapore and Sydney, however the PR guru jetted to Courchevel over the Christmas period.

With her Balenciaga ski gear in tow, the mother-of-two spent the week at the L’Apogee hotel, which is rumoured to cost $180,000 euro for 10 nights.

Jackie O Henderson

It’s been a massive year for radio queen Jackie “O” Henderson, so the media personality made her way to Thailand with her young daughter Kitty over the Christmas period.

The pair spent their time on Phi Phi Island.

She was meant to jet to India for an “eat, pray, love” tour of the country to ring in the New Year, alongside bestie Gemma O’Neill, however, the trip was postponed.

For the third year in a row, Guy and Jules Sebastian and their two boys headed to Tokyo over December and January.

Tom Williams and Rachel Gilbert

TV personality Tom Williams and fashion designer Rachael Gilbert have spent the past few weeks in St Moritz.

The couple and their two daughters stayed at the 3000 euro-a-night Survetta House.

Robert and Kym Herjavec

Dancing with the Stars cast member Kym Herjavec and her millionaire husband Robert have spent the past few days on board a superyacht in St Barts.

Ellie Malouf

Ellie Malouf, the daughter of Ian Malouf – who is listed in Australia’s Richest 250 list, having made his fortune in the waste management business – has grabbed her girlfriends and headed to St Barts and the Caribbean.

She has spent the past few months on board some of the world’s most expensive superyachts.

Kerry Stokes

Australian businessman Kerry Stokes has been spending December and January in Colorado at his Beaver Creek property.

Stokes paid $US15.5 million for the two-storey, six-bedroom, six-bathroom penthouse in 2002.

Jack Freeman

Interior designer Jack Freeman spent December at the $US2500-a-night Eden Rock hotel in St Barts.

Eden Rock has a reputation as the island’s premier luxury resort and is a magnet for the rich and famous.

Joshua Penn

Joshua Penn, husband Benjamin Palmer and their two young kids didn’t sit still for long over the December and January period.

First they swapped their Double Bay mansion for a holiday house in Palm Beach, in Sydney’s northern beaches, then they were apparently tossing up whether to head to Aspen in the US or Courchevel in France.

Either way, they will do it in style.

The pair will finish their trip in Paris, where they’ll attend Paris fashion week.
