Best and worst-dressed celebs at the People’s Choice Awards

Victoria Beckham is among the stars gathering on the red carpet for the 2018 People’s Choice Awards in Santa Monica.

Celebrities have started to walk the red carpet at the 2018 E! People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles today.

The awards are this year being held in Santa Monica, only a short distance from the deadly fires that have ravaged around the greater Malibu area — destroying a number of celebrities’ homes.

Rapper Nicki Minaj will open the awards show, screening in Australia on Foxtel’s E! channel from 1pm today, with a performance of her latest single. Celebs including Chrissy Teigen, Will Ferrell and Sarah Silverman are set to present.

The awards will also honour Melissa McCarthy as The People’s Icon of 2018 and Victoria Beckham with the inaugural Fashion Icon Award — her first high-profile public engagement since the Spice Girls announced they’ll embark on a reunion tour without her.

The artist formerly known as Posh Spice looked typically chic as she hit the red carpet, wearing a crisp white pantsuit with white lace camisole.
