Actor Amber Heard rocked up to the London premiere of her latest, water-themed superhero film this week in a shimmering sea-green gown topped off with a glammed-up swimming cap:

The actor and ex-wife to Hollywood A-lister Johnny Depp plays sea warrior Mera in the latest big-budget DC Comic blockbuster, reprising the role she first played in last year’s Justice League.

Her Aquaman co-star Jason Momoa also attended — but clearly didn’t get the memo about an “under the sea” theme:

Aquaman is set for release in Australia on December 21. The $221 million superhero blockbuster was filmed across southeast Queensland last year, and also stars Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson and Aussie Nicole Kidman in a rare superhero role.

The film’s release marks the end of an eventful year for Heard, who has had to withstand embarrassing public accusations from ex-husband Johnny Depp during their increasingly bitter divorce proceedings.
