Prince Harry has copped further humiliation by being excluded from a prestigious book celebrating Sandhurst’s top 200 alumni.

The Duke of Sussex was noticeably absent in the guide called They Also Served, despite having served in the British Army for ten years, rising to the rank of Captain and undertaking two tours of Afghanistan.

To add further insult, his brother Prince William made the cut and penned the foreword to the exclusive guide, written by Vaughan Kent-Payne.

Even British singer James Blunt made the guide for his service in Kosovo before he became a hugely becoming a hugely popular music star.

Prince Harry completed a 44-week training course at the campus in 2005 before becoming an officer cadet the next year.

The Duke is proud of his service and has set up the Invictus Games to honour wounded veterans.

But he caused controversy with his claims in his memoir Spare that he had killed 25 Taliban fighters.

He also wrote that he had been trained to see those he killed as “chess pieces” rather than people.

Former British Army colonel Richard Kemp called Prince Harry’s Spare comments a “betrayal of the people he fought alongside”.

Mr Kemp told The Sun: “I completely understand why he has not been included. I probably would have included him on balance, but it is not a disappointment to not see him in there.

“I don’t think he did anything particularly notable in his service but he was certainly a significant person to go to Sandhurst.

“I suspect the recent disharmony between him and the royal family has led them to decide against having him in.

“One thing he said in his book was the army taught him to see the enemy as less than human — which is not what we were taught. That has overshadowed a lot of the great things that he has done.”

It comes after Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle were the butt of a joke at the Golden Globes by comedian Jo Koy.

“It turns out Harry and Meghan Markle were still getting paid millions of dollars for doing absolutely nothing – and that’s just by Netflix,” he told the crowd, who laughed in response.
