Aussie actress Margot Robbie has had a whirlwind few days since arriving back on home soil last week.
From lunches to launches and house inspections in between, the Brisbane-born actress’ schedule is jam-packed.
Yesterday, after flying in from Queensland – where she spent Mother’s Day with family – the Hollywood heavyweight brought her star power to Sydney, where she was seen on not one, but two outings.
Her first stop was at trendy Potts Point eatery, The Butler, where she lunchedwith her actor brother Cameron Robbie, producer husband Tom Ackerley and Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Christine Centenera.
Wearing an emerald green satin shirt, a bandeau top, kitten heels and designer shades, Margot looked stunning as she left the Sydney hot spot, unbothered by the paparazzi swarming her car.
However, hours later, she wasn’t so forthcoming as she attended a launch party for her new gin brand, Papa Salt Coastal Gin, which she created with her husband and their friends, Charlie Maas, Josey McNamara and Regan Riskas.
The event was held at the Maybe Sammy cocktail bar in The Rocks and was attended by a host of famous faces, including aforementioned Vogue boss Centenera, who hosted the event.
While Margot arrived discreetly and did not pose for photos outside the venue – she instead slipped through a side door – stars such as singer Rita Ora, designer Pip Edwards, and models Jordan Barrett, Gemma Ward and Gabriella Brooks all posed for pics.
Papa Salt Coastal Gin has been Margot and friends’ side project for the last five years – and it took 59 different iterations before they group was happy with the product.
Shortly after Margot and her crew arrived in Australia on Friday, they headed straight to northern NSW hotspot Byron Bay to visit a distillery.
The group were first seen enjoying lunch at Raes on Wategos before attending a business meeting at Lord Byron Distillery, where their gin is made.
Afterwards, the couple were driven to a home on sale in the Byron hinterland suburb of Newrybar, where actor Liam Hemsworth also owns a property with his brother, Chris Hemsworth, not far away.
Margot and Tom inspected a sprawling, barn-style home property known as ‘Cedar Hill’, which has eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms and large infinity pool and is described on the listing as ‘Australia’s most beautiful property’.
The actress is expected to be back in Australia in July to promote her hotly-anticipated Barbie movie, in which she plays the iconic Mattel doll alongside Ryan Gosling as Ken.
The film will hit Australian cinemas on July 21.
