Celebrity Big Brother star JoJo Siwa has surprised fans by revealing that her name isn’t actually JoJo.

JoJo Siwa has sparked shock after revealing her real name isn’t actually JoJo.

Siwa is currently in the Celebrity Big Brother house in the UK, where she struck up a close relationship with fellow housemate Chris Hughes, which has sparked confusion among fans.

In the latest episode, 21-year-old JoJo confided in housemate Ella Rae Wise as they sat outside.

“I love having a partner but like I wish nobody knew. I wish I was better at keeping it private.”

“I separate my life into two people, right? JoJo and Joelle. Typically when I date somebody, they start to really get to know Joelle, right?

“But they’re both always present at all times. Right now, I’m Joelle but JoJo is still here, you know what I mean? Joelle runs JoJo!”

Fans rushed to social media to share their shock at JoJo not being Siwa’s real name.

“Why did it never dawn on me that her real name isn’t Jojo”, commented one fan.

“Jojo’s name is Joelle? What?!” remarked another.

A third tweeted: “WAIT! Jojo’s real name isn’t Jojo?,” while another complimented the star’s real name adding: “I genuinely thought her name was just JoJo. Joelle is a gorgeous name.”

Meanwhile, JoJo, who identifies as non-binary, has hit headlines numerous times throughout her Big Brother stint.

Hollywood star Mickey Rourke attacked Siwa in a series of “homophobic” outbursts on during her first few days in the house, and was later removed as a result.

“Do you like girls or boys?” he asked.

“Me? Girls. My partner is non-binary,” she replied, referring to social media creator Kath Ebbs, who is Australian.

Rourke, 72, then insinuated that he could change 21-year-old Siwa’s sexual orientation during their time together on Season 24 of the reality show.

Elsewhere in the episode, the Sin City actor told his castmate Chris Hughes he was “going to vote the lesbian out real quick.”

When Siwa overheard his remark, she hit back, “That’s homophobic, if that was your reasoning.”

“I need a f*g,” he then said before telling Siwa: “I’m not talking to you.”

Siwa has also sparked controversy for her seemingly close relationship with Hughes in the house. The pair have been seen drawing shapes on each other’s backs in bed, cuddling, and Hughes even said during the latest episode that Siwa “turns him on”.
