Steve Irwin’s widow, 59, made an appearance on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday morning with her son Robert Irwin.

As she chatted with the Aussie hosts, Irwin finally revealed the truth about rumours that she’s been secretly dating Hollywood actor Russell Crowe.

Radio host Kyle Sandilands cut to the chase by asking: “Who are you having sex with?”

“Have we been linked?” laughed Irwin in response to being quizzed over Crowe. “I have a lot of quiet evenings with a nice, big, juicy pizza.”

“Mum has been linked to something like 30 people,” said Rob. “I mean, it was King Charles, it was Russell, it was everyone.”

Oscar-winning Crowe has been a long-time supporter of Australia Zoo, and has been pictured with Irwin on a number of occasions in the past.

Despite the rumours regarding Crowe, Irwin hasn’t publicly dating anyone since her late husband died back in 2006, almost two decades ago.

Crowe previously fuelled rumours of a romance with Irwin after gushing about the star in an interview.

“Terri is one of the greatest women I’ve ever met in my life, without there being implication of intimacy or whatever,” he said. “You know I do love Terri Irwin, I love her kids and I love how she’s kept the memory of Steve alive, and respected the work that the two of them had begun and she’s an absolute champion.”

Meanwhile, Terri’s son, Rob, is busy promoting the new series of I’m A Celebrity.

Previous seasons have seen contestants eat all manner of (non-endangered) African animal parts during the show’s stomach-churning food challenges. “The one thing that I was like, “Mmm, I’ve got to change this”, was eating the African wildlife … I’m a conservationist at heart,” he said this morning when dropping by The Kyle & Jackie O Show in Sydney.

“They have changed it so we’re just doing the cow, and the chicken, and the fish, and the cockroach.”

Irwin added: “Africa’s got such amazing wildlife, and it’s about celebrating it”.
