And just like that, Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed the rumour.
More than two decades after the actress was romantically linked to her Honeymoon in Vegas co-star Nicolas Cage, Andy Cohen brought up the alleged romance on Watch What Happens Live, reports Page Six.
During Sunday’s episode, the 57-year-old host outright asked her, “Did you date Nick Cage?”
Parker, 60, replied, “Um, yes. I did. Yes, I did.”
Cohen, who is a longtime pal of the Sex and the City alum, joked that they had “some talking to do.”
However, the And Just Like That star did not divulge any further details on her and Cage’s time together in the interview.
Speculation first swirled about the former couple when they filmed their romantic comedy in 1991.
However, their romance was seemingly short-lived as Parker moved on with Matthew Broderick the following year, going on to marry the Ferris Bueller’s Day Off star in May 1997.
The duo are the parents of son James, 22, and twin daughters Tabitha and Marion, 16.
The Golden Globe winner also told Bravo viewers “how and when” she knew her now-husband “was The One.”
Parker recalled realising she loved the “incredible” actor, 63, “pretty early” after “just spending a little bit of time with him.”
She explained, “I remember I had to leave to go on location to shoot a movie. We were on East 10th Street [in New York City], and I was getting in a car to go away for a while. I remember thinking, ‘I love him.’”
The Emmy winner “said it first,” telling Cohen she had “nothing to lose” — and confirmed that Broderick did immediately say the words back.
As for Cage’s love life, the Wicker Man star married Patricia Arquette and Lisa Marie Presley in 1995 and 2002, respectively, followed by Alice Kim in 2004 and Erika Koike in 2019.
He shares son Kal-El, 19, with Kim, as well as son Weston, 34, with his ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton.
The Oscar winner is currently married to Riko Shibata, and the couple welcomed daughter August, now 2, in September 2022.
