‘Friends’ actor David Schwimmer spotted with 29-year-old medical student on LA date night

David Schwimmer has been spotted out in LA with a much younger woman, marking his first rumoured relationship since divorcing his wife.

David Schwimmer is rumoured to be in a relationship with a much younger medical student after he was spotted on an apparent date night in Los Angeles.

The Friends star, 58, was photographed leaving trendy Beverly Hills restaurant Spago alongside a 29-year-old woman named Eliana Jolkovsky, according to multiple reports.

While there was no PDA, the duo were seen hopping into a waiting Uber after enjoying dinner, with Schwimmer seen holding the door open for Jolkovsky before driving off.

According to Jolkovsky’s Instagram bio, she is studying medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and is a Jewish activist.

Her social media account, which has 13,000 followers, features photos of herself with friends, as well as posts condemning antisemitism.

Eliana Jolkovsky, 29, is a medical student at UCLA.

Jolkovsky describes herself as a Jewish activist on her social media page.

Ultra-private Schwimmer hasn’t been linked to anyone romantically since his 2017 split from British artist Zoe Buckman, who is 39.

The former couple, who were married for six years from 2010, share one child, daughter Cleo Buckman Schwimmer, who was born in 2011.

In early 2017, the pair announced in a joint statement they were taking “some time apart while we determine the future of our relationship.” They divorced later that year.

“Our priority is, of course, our daughter’s happiness and well being during this challenging time, and so we ask for your support and respect for our privacy as we continue to raise her together and navigate this new chapter for our family,” their statement finished.

Prior to his marriage to Buckman, Schwimmer briefly dated Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia in the late ‘90s.

He was linked to his Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston in tabloids during the sitcom’s 10-year run from 1994 to 2004, but the duo would wait decades to finally reveal their truth.

During the headline-making Friends reunion special, which aired in May 2021, Schwimmer and Aniston revealed they indeed had strong feelings for each other off-screen.

“The first season, I had a major crush on Jen,” Schwimmer said at the time.

Aniston responded, “It was reciprocated.”

“At some point we were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary, we respected that,” Scwhimmer added.

Aniston continued, “I remember saying to you (Schwimmer), ‘It’s going to be such a bummer if the first time we kiss is on national television …’ And sure enough, we did.”

Reiterating that they never explored their connection off-screen, she added, “We just channelled all of our love and adoration for each other into Ross and Rachel.”

Aniston, for her part, was married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, and later, Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018.
