PAMELA Anderson has been chosen to star on the final nude Playboy cover, saying she only agreed after getting her son’s approval.
The cover marks the 14th time Anderson has appeared on the front of Playboy — more than anyone else in the history of the magazine.
In October Playboy announced that is would get rid of nude images in its magazines with December being the last nude issue.
She said Hugh Hefner called her and said there was no one else they wanted for the final nude issue.
Anderson says she asked her 19-year-old son Brandon what he thought.
“I said, ‘Hef just called, he wants me to do the last cover of Playboy,’ and he goes, ‘Mum you’ve got to do it,”’ Anderson told Entertainment Tonight. “’We’re older, we’re not embarrassed anymore of you. You know, we think you’re great.’”
Anderson said Brandon and his 17-year-old brother Dylan had ended up in fist fights growing up over their mum’s racy past.
“(Brandon) was so excited ... He may have high-fived me. Then I asked Dylan too, and Dylan’s like, “Mum, you know you’ve done it all.”
“I don’t know what to say but, they were really excited for me, and I was excited too,” she said.
Anderson said she was quickly comfortable derobing for the shoot.
“I took off all my clothes, and I rolled down the hill as fast as I can,’ she said. ‘I was just screaming, and hair and boobs were flying, and shoes were going everywhere, and they and Ellen [Von Unwerth] shot it.”
Anderson first appeared wearing an open school blazer and tie on the cover of the October 1989 issue of Playboy.
She was married to Tommy Lee, the father of Brandon and Dylan from 1995-1998.
