IT TOOK Nicole Kidman a while, but eventually she found the right man.
The Oscar winner, 48, is pleased as peach with her husband, New Zealand-born country superstar Keith Urban, and made no attempt to hide it in a recent interview with Vogue magazine.
“I looked up at him at one point and I saw his tattoos and his foot going, and he had the guitar, and I was like, ‘God, I love that man. I’m so glad I’m in this world.’”
In fact, it sounds like one of the actress’ few regrets about life with the Sweet Thing singer, 47, is that it took the two lovers so long to find one another.
“I wish I could have met him much earlier and had way more children with him,” she said. “But I didn’t. I mean, if I could have had two more children with him, that would have been just glorious. But as Keith says, ‘The wanting mind, Nicole. Shut it down.’”
Kidman and Urban wed in 2006, a half-decade after her divorce from first husband, Tom Cruise. Kidman and Urban have two children together: Sunday Rose, who was born in 2008, and Faith Margaret, who was born via surrogate in 2010.
The actress, who will next star in Werner Herzog’s Queen of the Desert, also has two adopted children from her 11-year marriage to Cruise.
