Naomi Watts is considering plastic surgery

AUSSIE actor Naomi Watts has revealed that she’s seriously considering getting plastic surgery after moving from LA to New York.

“This being an industry town, that self-consciousness just pervades,” she says in Town & Country’s September issue. “There are days I feel victorious that I have ... gotten this far. But there are a million days when I look in the mirror and think, ‘I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it. I can’t live with this anymore.’”

Watts and her partner, Liev Schreiber, relocated to LA’s Brentwood from New York with their two sons because his series, Ray Donovan, shoots there.

The piece further says Watts was plucked from “excruciating obscurity” by director David Lynch after roles in such turkeys as Tank Girl and Children of the Corn IV.

“It was excruciating,” Watts says of her first days in Hollywood after seeing the success of her pal Nicole Kidman and relocating from Sydney. “I had a cruel shock of, ‘Wow this isn’t going to be like I thought it would be.’ As someone who works from the gut and was sure I was in touch with it ... I was way off.”
