The 32-year-old actress — whose character, Margaery Tyrell, won the heart of fiery King Joffery last season — showed her decidedly non-medieval haircut and a whole lot of skin in a sexy photo shoot for the April issue of GQ.

Dormer debuted the chop at January’s SAG Awards, a punky do she got in preparation for her latest role as the hard-nosed Cressida in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.

The English beauty’s shocking hairstyle might be for work, but the actress told the magazine it’s also in line with her personality.

“I love going out of my comfort zone — I live to go out of my comfort zone,” she said. “Obviously, you have quieter years than others — you don’t go jumping out of a plane every day.”
