The 33-year-old former Neighbours star has shared a picture on social media from her shoot with US Maxim magazine.

Natalie Saleeba, Christian Clark, Ben Lawson and Nicky Whelan starred in Neighbours in 2006.

The actor, who is now based in the US, looks smoking hot posing in a black and silver barely-there bikini.

“Grab a copy of this months @maximmag ...” part of Whelan’s post read.

The pictures will no doubt show Whelan’s ex Chad Michael Murray (who starred in One Tree Hill) what he’s missing after reportedly splitting last month.

Whelan and her Hollywood beau dated for six months after meeting on the set of the science-fiction film Left Behind. They also worked together on the TV series Chosen.

Murray was previously married to One Tree Hill co-star Sophia Bush, but she annulled the marriage after only five months. He was also engaged for seven years to Kenzie Dalton before ending the relationship in September 2013.

Nicky Whelan might be making it big in Hollywood but she still supports her Melbourne Victory A-League team.

Nicky Whelan has landed roles in a number of Hollywood productions since leaving Neighbours.
