SHANE Warne appears to have responded to the explosive Woman’s Day story in which a single mother detailed their “wild sex romp” after meeting on Tinder.
Following Adelaide mother-of-two Kim McGrath’s explicit story about their raunchy tryst in a hotel room, the sportsman sent out a cryptic tweet about living by certain principles.
Ms McGrath, 43, told the magazine she was relatively new to the dating app when she stumbled across Warnie’s profile on December 9. The 45-year-old cricket star was in Adelade at the time to commentate on the Test.
“I thought it was hilarious he was on Tinder … I didn’t really think it was him,” Ms McGrath told the mag.
Ms McGrath claims that, after a few messages and photos back and forth to clarify it was actually “The” Shane Warne, the pair went on two dates and had “one wild romp” in a hotel room in Adelaide. She has gone into explicit detail in the tell-all, alleging that Warnie asked if she was “up for being devoured” and referred to him as “one of the best lovers” she has ever had.
“He’s very strong in the bedroom,” she added. “He was definitely in charge.
“He asked me to keep them [her high heels] on while he spanked me.”
“From the outset I thought it was a joke — my friend and I were rolling about laughing when I sent the message and I didn’t really believe it was Shane Warne until he walked in my door.
“I was blown away that it really was him,” Ms McGrath said.
It gets worse. Warnie asked the single mother before meeting up with her: “Can I trust you? Are you private? This has to stay between us.”
One month later, she has already cashed in on her alleged fling. Poor form indeed.
Last week, Warnie took to social media to set the record straight about his relationship status after rumours circulated that he was seeing glamour model Tilley Holzberger. “Won’t mention this again,” he wrote. “I have no GF. I’m very single.”
He split with model Emily Scott, 31, back in September after three months of dating.
Won't mention this again. I have no GF. I'm very single. So stop boring the crap out of people news outlets & writing rubbish, no one cares

In March last year, the unlucky in love father-of-three revealed he was planning to join the dating app after seeing photos of his ex-fiancee, Liz Hurley, kissing another man.
“Was just sent some pictures, wow, some people move on quickly,” he tweeted. “Maybe now it’s time to take up my single friends’ suggestions and join Tinder!”
Warnie has been contacted by news.com.au for comment on the Woman’s Day article, on sale now.
